Hi, I'm new to golf and playing with an old set of Daiwa Tryace clubs that my uncle left over at my house. Except, I only have a 3-wood, and 3,4,6,8 and 9 irons. I also have a SW and a PW. I've been told on the "New to Golf" forums that i should practice with a 5 or 7 iron, the problem is, those are the one's I'm missing! I went to my local golf shop and saw a bag full of $10 assorted irons, and i was thinking, since i'm so new to golf, will it hurt to get a cheap 5 and 7 iron so that i can complete my set? So my question is, will having a different collection of brands for my irons affect my swing?

Also, i'm thinking of getting a driver too, any recommendations for a good driver for a beginner male who's 5'7?
