I don't know if you can get by with the half inch difference or not. Here is what I'm guessing you'll get with your 10.25 per club. An extension which is probably 1.00 a club and new grips as they will cut off the current grips to put the extension in and regrip them. For a nice Lamkin grip your looking at roughly 2 dollars a grip.

You could save some money doing it yourself or getting someone local to do it.

GolfWorks has extensions for 1.75, and they appear to do 2 clubs each and lamkin grips for 1.90. So I see $22-$23 for supplies. I don't know what a person would charge for doing this. But I don't see it beeing $90.

You could buy them try them for a while and then have it done by someone else if you need the change.
