Wedges are about accuracy and control dont worry if you dont hit them as far as a corrsponding iron, many of them have heavier soles that add height and spin at the expense of distance. You need to find out what wedge covers the distance you have trouble with.
Cleveland are still the best, although I think you do the Pure Spin's a disservice, I think they are pretty decent
clubs.
Cleveland does a range of wedges from 47-64 degrees you will find one amongst that lot that serves the purpose, I would recommend the trusty rusty's especially.
