I know you are somewhat isolated in Iceland, but you need to get your driver shaft matched to your swing. I have seen it make the world of difference for every person I have sent to get this professionally done.
Everyone has a different swing speed and swing charactoristics. A standard graphite shaft will not work for everyone, maybe 25% at most. Steel has less variables, so it will be more consistant from user to user, closer to 75%. This is why there is about 300 different types of graphite shafts on the market and about 8 different types of steel shafts. For this reason, I have quite buying
clubs with graphite shafts already installed. I now get them custom built to my specs and I have a LOT less headaches wondering why 1 or 2
clubs out of 14 won't work with my swing.
