Lob Bounce

Brelly,

A lob wedge is a good investment. It may take a little to get used to. They come in basically two flavors. About a 6* or 12*.
A 6* bounce would be great off tight fairways and out of wet sand. A 8*-12* would be better from soft fairways or soft sand. Whatever the condition in your area, you can find a wedge to do the job.
Most pro shops won't let you hit their wedges. I find asking other players to try their wedges you can get a feel for what's out there. Whatever you choose 2 wedges or 3, get a matching set. The feel will be about the same. Consistancy is key.

Make sure the swing weight is about D4 or D5 for a lob, it will help it get through the grass and swing through easier.
