I have heard from many pros that your toe should be up half way back. another way oy see it is.... you club should never be open or closed throughout the whole swing. it should always be parrellel to the swing path then it will always be square at impact. the flatter your swing is, the more the toe will be up and open, and also the steeper your swing is the more closed it will look. HTH

as far as my earlier post it isn't a fix all tip. but i have found it to help stop casting, if that was your problem.
