Cupping equates to the angle of the wrist like you were carrying a box of pizza with one hand. When you address the ball on a chip shot, your hands will be positioned slightly in front of the ball. Look at your right hand and wrist (for a RH golfer) and see the angle that is created. Try to keep that angle thru impact for a chip shot.
