go to a mirror and try the simpliflied back swing I posted, look at your positions, and if it gets you where you want then try that out.
ALso, if you have no right elbow bend at address the right elbow will not fold soon enough in the back swing, keeping it low, and if the right arm stays low, the swing stays flat
