Recently a member of our foursome "borrowed" two range balls for our round on the course. I disagreed with his action, but he claimed that he had all good intentions to return them after the round. Regrettably he lost both in the rough.

Golf columnist David Feherty wrote that it is illegal but not immoral to remove range balls. What do you think? Is it okay if the intention is to return them?
