| Re: What beer you like best? At long last a post I can actually contribute to......
I'm a seasonal drinker - so
Winter - Guinness, it warms and fills you up through the cold and wet winter months..
Christmas - Erdinger Winterbrew - a potent and slightly expensive German Weissbeer.
Spring - Erdinger, warming and filling, yet uplifting enough for the improving weather.
Summer - Miller, if its a long evening in the garden with friends, Guinness if it's after a good game of golf, if I'm not drinking I'll have bottles of Corona, tasty, go down easy, but not really that interesting.
Autumn - I'm moving back to the Guinnees....
General drinking - There is a very cheap but tasty Pils in Lidl that is 6 pint bottles for €7 which is exceptionally cheap by Irish standards and is a quality German Pils. Thats my 6 pack thats always in the fridge if I want a few relaxing beers.
To celebrate an occasion I'm looking at a nice 12 year old Glenfiddich, but I'm still a novice whiskey drinker....
I'm also fond of a nice Hoegarden in the summer in a beer garden...
Otherwise I'm still researching the world of foreign beers..... |
