To me hitting wedges is not about the distance but rather hitting them an exact distance every time and knowing those distances. I would not worry too much about a loss of 10 even 20 yards that much from your short
irons as long as there are no yardage gaps from 150 yds in.
I have more success from a 100 yards hitting a nice easy gap wedge then a hard sw. Though my hard pw goes 125 I am more comfortable using it at 110 with a nice easy fade swing.
But, you might also want to get the angle of the wedges checked, some of the yardage could be due to the fact that they are off or not as strong as normal pw. (i.e if your pw is 50 rather then a a standard 48 that could explain 5-7 yds or so)
