| Re: What Putter ? There's absolutely nothing wrong with a Wilson ProStaff putter and as long as you like it, use it. Then again, there's absolutely nothing wrong with Cameron or Bettinardi and other high-end putters either. It's all about how that putter make you feel, not it's price. If it also help syou holeputts, all the better!
The only way to fnd the best putter for you is to go into a store that has a nice selection and an indoor green. Pick out some putters that you like the look of and try them out. Spend some time with each, hitting a variety of long and short putts. Don't try to make the putts, just notice how the putter feels when you swing it, how the ball bounces of the head, what type of sound it makes etc. After a few putters, you will have a pretty good picture of the type that feels good to you and it is a lot easier making a good decision.
Don't be fooled by price either: many times a really cheap and cheasy putter can turn out to be the best feeling and best performing putter you've ever had.
Good luck!
