Hello, I started playing about 5 years ago. 3 years ago I quit playing golf because of a problem that I will explain in a second. I started back this year and I have been playing great shooting in the high 80's-low 90's. Last week, however, the problem came back. What happened is I was playing a casual round with a buddy and I was hitting it great with my
irons. I even commented to him how I was making great contact with my
irons making two pars and a birdie on the first 3 holes on a difficult course. Then it hit. What happens is, all of a sudden I can't feel the clubhead. Its like I don't have any idea of what is going on with my swing at all. The result, I can't hit the ball of the ground, I struggle to make good contact. Often times the ball just squirts about 20 feet in front of me through the grass. I shank the ball often. I hit the ball off to the right (right-hander) and I have no idea what is going on. Its kinda embarrassing because my buddy and I play twice a week, but now I have to tell him I can't go because of my problem. Can anyone help with this dilemma.
