Leave it in the bag. Groove a good swing with the shorter clubs and when you have a good swing go for another lesson with you PGA pro to look at the driver.

You don;t need to hit a driver yet, you will be more consistent and thus score better with an iron off the tee or try a three wood.

If you are hitting the other clubs well then take 3 irons to the par 5 is better than than a drive into trouble, a recovery shot and two more to the green!
