The answer to your question is "no" - it is the same grip for the driver as all other clubs x for the putter. Having said that, if you are a beginner, I would strongly encourage you to take some lessons and ingrain good habits from the start. Usually a pro will look at 3 essential elements of the address
1) Proper grip
2) Proper alignment
3) Proper stance.
