we have a old guy that still plays with two wodden shafter clubs, a wedge and a 9 iron and hes deadly from 80 yards to the pin and he also has a putter thats older than me, and hes in his late 70 and boy can this guy putt, he dont play more than 9 holes now but its like going back in time playing with him, every thing is hit so low, and its all pitch and run too, he gets a shot at every hole and there only two holes that he cant get on green in two.
its the other way here you out drive him by 50 yards but he just hits a little runner onto the green every time. not always about distance off the tee.
