| Re: Will anyone ever score 54? I'd say "yes", but it won't be golf as we know it as today. Technology in balls, and equipment will advance to the point where bogey, and par per hole scores will be a surprise, and not the norm. I would think that type of technology is some where between 50, and 100 years down the road, but believe a pure birdy round will eventually happen.
I understand there is a 6 year old youngster (boy) phenom in Europe who is being labled the next Tiger Woods, only better. Perhaps he will shoot a 57 someday, who knows. Or, will a young lady come along some day who would make Annika's game take a dirt road into oblivion and shoot a 56. A 54 is relevent to the talent, and the equipment available in the far reaching future. GJS |
