All I'm saying is, instead of getting steamed up and being rude, people should just relax. I know it is frustrating when your round of golf takes 5 hours because the group ahead is spending a lot of time searching for errant drives! |
Sometimes we'll leave our biggest guy on the tee box to inform the 4some behind that we're being held up by the group in front. He then usually adds that we may be slow on this hole - because he had to wait and talk to them.
In my second year, I had a very, very bad 'habit' of hitting into groups that I thought were holding up my group. I've stopped that since an incident where I couldn't see the group in front of the 'offending' group - holding us both up. I felt horrible - and bought double rounds for the group in front of me.
