| Re: Favourite Course? Never been to Augusta or Pebble beach. They both certainly look beautiful. Went to St Andrews last year for the open. Fife is a very beautiful part of the world and St Andrews is a great looking course. It’s very short though. We saw many players going for a lot of greens off the tee. It really needs the weather to defend it. Got some proper bunkers. Bunkers that loose you shots. Not those bunker in the US that pros aim for to play safe. It’s not great for spectators though. St Andrews does have an aura about it. I love to play it someday. So I may be biased but I’m going for St Andrews. Also if you do ever go to St Andrews not to far is a great little 9 hole course. Anstruther golf Club, it’s cheep and cheerful. It runs right along side the firth of forth, it’s got a few scary tee shots. It’s not St Andrews but most people can afford to play there.
