Titleist may do something similar, I informed Taylormade aswell but never got a response, I guess
Callaway are more customer friendly.
The only drawback from doing it on a par 4 is that my playing partners now expect to see it everyweek, I get comments like "this ones only 320 yards, you wont need your putter" and its a dissapointment when it doesnt go in. I am going to sell my driver although I did consider getting it mounted but they are so expensive to buy a decent one that I need to get some money back on my old one. Have you seen the new
Callaway FT-i driver, its SQUARE, it wont be out till April next year but apparently its the shape of things to come.
Its a shame they are tearing down the course, it would have been nice to play it again and rekindle all those good feelings.
