That's OK mate - was only joking about the cruelty; but I'm sure that the play through curse really does exist.

Strange thing was that for a while in that round (its a 9 hole you go round twice so playing orders can change) I was following a two ball with just one bag who wouldn't let me through so I just practised chipping and putting on the green I 'd finished while I waited which got my short game into such a nice feel that I did 'nt mind the delay one little bit.

The couple behind though had a nice idea - having gained 2/3 holes on me, and having seen what was happening - they just played the short Par 3 three times until I'd got a hole and a bit ahead again.
