I think that is what McClean was recommending. Also McClean had a different view on Hogan's pane of glass swing plane and came up with the "McClean Power Cone"
The book is very good overall and well worth the read.
You can pick up a cheap paperback copy on Amazon. I got mine for about a £5, so can't complain.
They have just re released the book in shops in Hardback, presumably to tie in with its 50th birthday in 2007.
