| Yipp, yipp not hooray!! I didnt do anything different from what I usually do, I had played on the Monday and towards the end of the round my putting started to deteriate so perhaps it was playing on my mind. Interestingly enough I thought by firming up my grip I could sort the problem but going by what you guys have said I was probably making it worse. I also tried to concentrate on a good rocking of the shoulders, making sure everything moved together back and through, it was fine on a practice stroke but as soon as the ball was there it all went to pieces. Perhaps it is a mental thing, putting has never been my strongest suit but on my day I wouldnt say it was bad. I must admit I am seriously considering left below right, it just seemed a more positive stroke whereas before i left a few short. Do you guys have any views on the extra wide grips, the ones where you place both thumbs on the top?
