| Re: Can this Golf swing tactic realy work? Roni, I actually own the e-book myself - it's pretty good.
My swing is a combination of Shootin4Par's advice and "Simple Golf Swing". My chest is raised up high throughout the entire swing and I only swing to parallel. In the book there is no follow through with the legs - the release of the swing is incorporated by the hands turning over - much like AJ Bonar's teachings.
I didn't incorporate this into my swing as it felt unfinished without a traditional looking finish.
Eitherway, it's helped me out quite a bit - keeping your chest raised up and back straight promotes good posture and also, in my case, helped me make better contact because I was still 'connected'. In the book it will tell you the DS starts with the left shoulder "moving back", much like a one-plane swing, this bothered me a bit as I couldn't get that wright without moving my head. So instead I just focused on a shorter backswing and "pulling on a bell-rope" to start my downswing.
Feel free to pm me if you want anymore details - it's a solid purchase and includes plenty of pictures from grip to finish.
