I dont see how it helps with distance control.
Your brain uses depth perception from your two eyes to figure out how far away something is, trying to translate a short uphill slope (a severe uphill slope in some cases) into a long slight slope is too hard and wont have good results (I think)

Hi Gree
Thanks for the observation. I would have to disagree just based on the feedback I keep getting and even the review by the GTO Administrator.
IMO, I give the brain more credit for being able to differentiate between uphill and downhill putts, but even if you were correct the Boom's going to make your uphill putting dead easy - wouldn't you agree?
Would you like to take our
Skeptic's Challenge? I'll send you a Boom Pack, you try it for 30 days if if you still don't see the point just send it back and I'll Pay Pal you the cost of your shipping. Then you can tell everyone here what you thought of the product after you've given it a real good work out. Let me know if you're interested

And thanks again for the opinion, the world would be very boring if everyone was the same
Cheers
Alex
PS For those that haven't read our FAQ the Boom's not about grooving certain distances, it's more about building a synchronized relationship between putter and ball that works over any distance.
