Although I have read that one should not watch the ball and other stuff like topping isn't because of not watching the ball and other garbage, there is no denying that the longer one stays down and through the shot the better the strike and easier to get the sweet spot. Not many folks can stay committed to the shot without watching the ball.
In no other sport are you expected to hit a ball without watching it, golf is no different. Its about hand eye coordination and you can not have HEC without using the E.
