I have been using a set of
Callaway irons for some years and have never gelled with them, I suspect the shafts are too long, the wrong flex, the lie angle is wrong and they just feel too heavy for me.
I have decided to get a new set and have them fitted. I tried some Forgan
clubs from my local Pro-shop this week and although they are fairly budget price I really liked them and had some excellent results.
The question I am asking is: do you think it's good policy to purchase a well made but budget set and have them fitted, or buy a brand name off the shelf?
