Re: Rolling up the 3/4 inch tape on the shaft

I would try the perfect overlap, myself.

The first time I messed around with 3/4" tape, I spiralled one way, then spiralled the other way (it sure looked nice). But when it came time to take the tape off............ well, it wasn't nice. Or easy. Or fun. In fact, I think I had a few choice names for myself at that point, none of them pleasant.

So as long as your buildup layers cover the shaft completely, I'd try to mimic them as closely as possible. If you have to remove the tape, it should come off easier.

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.

I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.

For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
