| Re: Spine tilt direction at setup/ the top/secondary axis tilt Shootin4par,
Apologies for late reply. Thanks for your sharing again!
Have done the test on mirror without a club. As from thigh down, head move left to the tape. From ground up, head much stationary, spine angle maintain, right heel stay on ground longer, the essentials of good and solid shots. If slide out past left leg, head past the tape. I used to swing from thigh down, so have the problem.
Yesterday, I went to range to practice my test findings. I can’t plant my left foot with a club at the top. I felt the club weight and the hands away from the body to the top cause the total weight on right side hindering the ground up and weight shift action. However I can plant it very easily without a club. After back home and review, I guess… my backswing coiling action is wrong, may be the right shoulder is only back but no up and in enough, so that I can’t fall back to left side and plant foot on downswing. Will try to work this out on next week range practice and let you know the result.
One more question: I can use the following part of right shoulder to do the down, in and forward action, the right pec, deltoid, triceps, armpit, combinations, which you would recommend?
Please feel free to give any comments. I would try my best to study it. |
