My dad had a friend that was an accomplished amateur in Massachusetts, where I grew up. After my first lesson with the pro at our club, he looked at me and said, "Just remember this kid, golf is 90% mental, the other 10% will drive you nuts." I laughed so hard at that, but I think he was right.
