Just had a club fitting session. They checked a range of
clubs with differing lie angles. The club face and bottoms were taped and I hit a number of balls off a board that left marks on the tape to indicate where the club was grounding. They also checked my swing speed and measured from wrist to ground.
The results of all this was that their standard set of
clubs gave optimum results, the board marks were slap between the central lines while the others were towards the toe and heel. The shaft lengths and flex were also correct (Standard flex and length).
So! I can have my new
clubs as an early present.
