i dont agree that to play better golf you have to use blades. if that was so then all pros would use blades, i do agree its about feel and touch but you can have both with cavity back clubs too.
ping eye 2 was the most used clubs used but pro's at one time and the had no probled shaping there shots, its the same noW with the guys using ping G5, the hit high then low shots, fade and draw the ball at will, i know i had no problem hitting low draws with my ping zings and now play a high fade as my bread and butter shot and i am not that great a golfer, both type of club have its + and - but to say if you want to improve you golf you have to use blades is untrue. just ask lee westwood.
