Slow Motion Practice

I used to think practicing golf was the most boring thing in sports. That was until I started to gain an understanding of the mechanics of the swing and started to try and model a swing for myself. So if practicing golf on the range is boring to someone just think about practicing a slow motion swing in your living room. I never thought I would do that. However, it takes the place of hours on the range in my opinion. Getting the feel for the turn, the weight shift and follow through in slow motion can truly translate to your unconscious effort on the course. I can really see and feel a reverse pivot action clearly in slow motion and correct it immediately in the slow motion work. I can really feel that first move necessary to get the swing going correctly. Anyone else get a lot out of this type of practice?
