Every putt line will have it's own fairly unique breaks, lumps, bumps, grass, grain, wetness etc etc. You have to consider the putting conditions presented to you and make an educated guess on the line of the putt and the weight of the swing, you will only have one go at it from this position.
I can't see how you can learn to hit better by practice with a target, please explain?
