Unless you're in a bunker when you'd want the committee to have redefined stones (loose impediments) to be moveable obstructions.

On a more serious note there are loads of "rules guides" out there; I picked up this one (hope the link works) last year and would recommend it; the format and material makes it pretty good to take out with you - assuming you don't take the full rule book in your bag!
Looking at the OP though, my interpretation was that since "interference" is only defined in 24.2 Immovable then under 24.1 he was free to move the post anyhow; without looking I wasn't sure about "in the hazard " though
