Tend to disagree Ben, when all is said and done, luck can only get you so far and ability will shine in the end.

My club's matchplay knockout event event was won by our low marker, a young fellow off 2. And he beat 2 guys in his four rounds where he had to "give them the course"......

Pretty impressive actually.

Bottom line, play better than your handicap on any given day and you are a chance to win...

And with high cappers, they seem less likely to do so week in week out...

Being a high capper, I know this is true of me anyways...
