That sounds like classic casting to me my friend. You are releasing the club WAY too early on the downswing. During your backswing, when your left arm is close to parallel to the ground, your wrists start to hindge the club upwards. You form a "L." On the downswing, you need to reform that "L" at roughly the same spot. There are several causes, but most people who cast start their downswing with their hands. They THROW the club at the ball.
