different driver shafts

Over the past year I've made the biggest improvement in my golf game then I ever have before, after switching to a one plane golf swing, I'm hitting my irons and fairway woods better then ever. Here's the problem I can no longer hit my driver. I have a Nicklaus driver with a 9 degree loft, and an s-flex shaft. I've never had my swing speed measured but I'm a big guy and I belive I swing between 105 and 115 mph. I used to be able to hit my driver fairly well when I was swinging on a more upright plane, but now my plane is flatter I belive I'm swinging harder and the shaft is not catching up to my hands. I would take any input on wheter or not the shaft can play such a crucial role in determing how consitent you hit your driver. And I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on the type of driver or shaft I should be playing.
