Hands SHOULD purposely be SLIGHTLY higher for the driver than for the
irons. To answer Brian, by higher hands I mean further away from the body, that is, not quite hanging straight down. A VERY slight "reaching". Just a bit. To illustrate, as VERY general rule, with correct posture for the
irons, you should be able to put a fist between your front thigh and the butt end of the club at address, the little finger side against your thigh and the middle knuckle of the thumb at the butt of the club). With the driver, make the same fist but extend the thumb, like you’re hitchhiking. With the driver the little finger side of the fist against your thigh and now the tip of your thumb touching the butt of the club. Again, this is not hard and fast rule, but more of generalization to illustrate the difference in hand position for the driver.

Look at the differnce in Baddeley's arms and hands at address between "video 2" and "video 3" Hands further away from the body with the driver also "raises" them. Note the arms are not hanging straight vertical with the driver.
