Do you think it would be OK to have a set of irons with mixed shafts?


I am thinking of getting the new Cleveland CG Reds. I would have 3 - 5 iron in a regular shaft, and then 7 to PW in a stiff shaft.

I hit these clubs at a demo day on Tuesday. They were very good. I creamed the 6 iron with a DGS300 shaft, and did OK with DGR300 shaft with a 3 iron, but struggled a bit with the DGS300.

I was also thinking of getting the CG Golds from 3 - 5 as these are a lovely feeling and forgiving club, but in a stiff.
