Re: Off season lessons

There are two schools of thought (and I'm not sure which one I subscribe to).

1) Any practicing is good. Grooving any swing is fine as long as you play the results of that repeatable swing.

2) Perfect practice makes perfect. Practice is beneficial if you're practicing the correct movements.

In this instance, we're discussing practicing swing mechanics. As a basketball coach, I'd rather see players subscribing to #2. However, all practice is tough on your own if you can't see yourself making the correct movements. This is where a video camera and a monitor help (I've used my cam and V1 with some spine angles drawn on to help with my posture).

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.

I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.

For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
