I know what you are saying - I am in Edmonton and I have been burrying my balls into the green. They are starting to firm up now, but my first couple rounds out if I landed on the green the ball would burry. One par 3, 200 yards I hit my 5I in and as I approached the green my ball was missing. When I got on the green, all I could see was the top 1/4 inch of the ball sticking out!!! I have burryed a few in the fairways too, but nothing more than 1/2 ball deep.
