Not sure how I missed this one. The tough part is finding the specs - the angle of the V in the stimpmeter is fixed as well as how high up it goes and how deep the notch is. Manufactured stimpmeters are designed so that a golfball sits in the notch, and will release when the stimpmeter is raised to the proper height.
