You may not have played too long or maybe 30 years anyway this will help you understand the swing plane and what it does when you get on track so to say.
1. You swing flat you say. ( practice with you ball below your feet say 6 inches below ok) if you have a flat swing plane you will miss the ball I would say.
Practice the upright swing plane needed to make contact with the ball below your feet. Then put the ball on a flat and use that same upright swing thought/plane you have practiced and away you go. Job done.
2. When you start hitting sliced shots then come back & I will tell you to practice with the ball above your feet about 6 inches.
Note today’s cure is tomorrows fault..
