What we've had this year so far :

January - Poured with rain, course either closed or waterlogged.

The next 3 weeks we had clear skies but overnight frosts. Had to play on an icy golf course. Driving was okay but all second shots hit the green and bounced 30 yards thru. A bit of a farce to be honest.

The next 3 weeks we had winds. Ranging between 40mph to 60mph every day. A few tree's were lost. Very difficult to play golf in.

Then it rained again. The course is waterlogged, barely playable. 7 Irons are going about 110 yards, drives about 210.

Next it's going to snow !

Very annoyed. If was a fair weather golfer I would have played about 3 rounds this year. I seem to spend all my time checking weather forecasts
to see if I can get a game at the weekend.

I'm just hoping we have a decent summer this year !
