| Re: mindfullness and learning golf I understand mindfulness as just being aware of your thoughts. Not to try to concentrate or shut away anything that comes to your mind but listen to your thoughts and let them go away.
It's like hiding and seek - when you "see" your fears or thoughts, they loose their power to direct your performance.
Often I get carried away - and do not know what I am thinking - I work unconsciously - and unconscious thoughts affect my doing - like playing golf.
I'd like to be aware of my thinking - it just might help me to understand my game. |
