I decided that I had to keep turning ( all the low handicappers I play with bascially all said the same thing). I started down that road and still had my a flip which equalled huge pulls. I kept at it and just turned even harder and focused on keeping the hands passive and the left wrist flat. I didnt care about OTT or in the slot or whatever .. just 'always be turning'. After a while it started to click and when I was hitting 8i 155 yards with no hands just a turn the light really came on for me |
You a Chuck Quinton fan? I think Greg's RHD helped me realize what my arms/hands needed to do in the swing. Quinton showed me the body/torso aspect.
I totally feel you on the "swinging left." In fact, my good strikes felt like they should be OTT pulls. But in reality, the were inside-square inside solid decending strikes. Almost feel like I am swinging OTT.
It's truly effortless. I feel like I can go HARD at the ball and hit it very straight and long. About a 152-155 8i. The biggest gain I saw was with my SW. I was only hitting my 54* SW 85 yards. I pumped several out there 105 the other day.
Great to hear someone else "caught on fire" and I really hope you keep it ablaze!!!!
