i use a ping eye2 1 iron about 3 or 4 times in a round and i hit that fairly high and i hit about 220-230 yards. like you with your 2 iron i can shape the shot and i find it goes where i want more than my driver. i keep getting told no one uses a 1 iron but i find it a god send on windy links courses. i use a top-flite ball and that seems to fly high and suits my type of play.
