if you were to shorten the one iron to say the shaft size of say a 5 iron shaft would you not lose distance in the same way i do when i move down the grip an inch to take off 15 yards of my 1 iron.
would the shorter the shaft not take off a few mph off your swing speed or is that more down to the weight of the heads. i was thinking that i cant swing my 5 iron as fast as i can my 1 iron.
do you have to de-loft the irons a little on a one size shafted set to re-adjust the distance gaps ????
