| Re: Balls, Long Irons and Hybrids You're in quite the paradoxial situation. You want more height (which means a lower and further back CoG), but want to work the ball (which means a CoG closer to the face).
I remember Tom Wishon talking about his 321 hybrids, and how he designed them so that you could still hit them low when you needed it, but it's default trajectory was higher. .335 tip (which can be bored to .370 for a lower flight).
I myself went from playing a 5w to a 2H - I can't believe how fast it gets up. But it's still knockdown-able (I'm playing the 785 - the hot faced version of the 321).
